Shipping Policy
We ship across India from Ahmedabad. Lighting is small and light, so delivery here is straightforward — the care goes into the glass and the controllers.
How the timings work
Handling is 1-2 business days — from a confirmed order to the parcel leaving us. Transit is on top: 2-4 business days to a metro address and 4-8 business days elsewhere. Added together that gives 3-6 business days to a metro address and 5-10 business days elsewhere, which is the figure quoted everywhere on this site. Working days exclude Sundays and public holidays.
Packing
String sets travel coiled in their retail box; glass and projector units travel boxed with padding. Controllers and plugs are the parts most likely to be damaged by a crushed carton, so check they are intact before the packing goes out.
On delivery day
- Look at the carton before you sign. If it is crushed, soaked or rattling, refuse it and tell us.
- Photograph the carton and the item if anything is wrong, before the packing goes in the bin.
- Report damage within 48 hours of delivery to sales@aaslights.shop. We replace or refund.
Test a set indoors before installing it at height. A string that will not power on is a simple replacement on day one and a difficult conversation after it has been stapled along a balcony.
Tax
Aas Lights is a small online retailer and is not registered for GST: turnover stays below the applicable registration threshold in India, so registration has not become compulsory. GST is therefore not charged separately on any order, and no GST tax invoice carrying a registration number can be issued. The figure printed beside an item is the whole amount payable.
Orders placed after 3:00 PM IST are picked up the next working day. We do not dispatch on days the shop is closed or on public holidays, and delivery windows are estimates rather than guaranteed dates.
