Two figures decide a light: length and power

Aas Lights is an online retailer in Ahmedabad, Gujarat selling fairy lights, string lights, solar garden lights, LED strip and projectors. We ship across India.

Why length and power come first

People order decorative lighting against the size of the room and then find the run is half the wall. The figure that matters is the run itself — the wall, the window, the balcony rail — measured before anything is bought.

The second figure is the power source. A battery set goes anywhere but has a box to hide and cells to replace; a plug-in set needs the socket within the lead. Both are on every listing here.

What we will not claim

Solar lights need direct sun for most of the day to run through the evening. In shade they disappoint, and that is the site rather than the product. We say so on the page instead of promising all-night light.

Only sets with a stated IP rating belong outdoors. An indoor string on an open balcony survives one monsoon at best.

How we write listings

Every description here is written from the specification of the item. Where a maker does not state a run length, a battery life or an IP rating, we leave it out rather than invent one.

We do not publish customer reviews on this site, and there are none to find here. We are a retailer, not a manufacturer, and nothing here is described as made by us.

Tax

Aas Lights is a small online retailer and is not registered for GST: turnover stays below the applicable registration threshold in India, so registration has not become compulsory. GST is therefore not charged separately on any order, and no GST tax invoice carrying a registration number can be issued. The figure printed beside an item is the whole amount payable.
